What is BearCare

We all remember the saying, “A little dab will do ya”, and that is exactly how much Bearcare is needed to protect skin from almost everything it can be subjected to. BearCare is a silicone-free, moisturizing barrier cream which assists in blocking out abrasive materials, dirt and smell from things we touch.

Just a small amount of BearCare, thoroughly rubbed into the skin, will provide a four-hour barrier, and gives protection against bacteria entering minor cuts. This barrier also assists in cleanup of dirty hands in all industries, creating further savings to companies by reducing the amount of hand cleaners used.

Because of the minimal amount of BearCare needed (a drop the size of a pea), the cost works out to approximately .003 cents per application. Barrier creams have been available for several years but many industries are unable to take advantage of the protective benefits due to a silicone content.

BearCare is scent-free, food-safe and will continue working for up to forty hand washes. Used daily BearCare’s skin softeners alleviate dry, cracked hands, feet and hangnails, which can be a magnet for airborne germs and bacteria. People who suffer from eczema or psoriasis may also benefit from BearCare, although it is not guaranteed to work on all strains of these skin conditions. Extensive skin irritations usually appear over time and BearCare may have to be applied for a few weeks before significant results are noticeable.

Emergency response or health care workers find BearCare useful in protecting against repeated hand washing, irritating talc in latex gloves, or allergies to the latex itself. Patients may find BearCare relieve itching caused by harsh detergents used to sanitize bedding and clothing in hospitals, and other medical facilities.

BearCare also relieves diaper rash and sunburn pain, soothes shaved legs, eliminates food smells on hands, and discolouration by foods such as beet juice. It will help lock on sunblock for longer coverage, and aide in scalp itch without making hair go limp and greasy.
